Set up to celebrate our 10th birthday, the Delicious Alchemy Charitable Foundation marks the next step in our aim and passion: to improve the lives of people on restricted diets, day by day.
The Foundation will achieve its aim through charitable gluten free food donations to UK food banks, such as the Trussell Trust. It will also donate money to charities and scientific research programmes, who share our goal of improving the lives of those on a free from diet.
The charity is in its early stages, as the documents have just been submitted to the Charity Commission. Whilst we await our official charity registration number, we have exciting plans in place to make this project a real success.
Our first charity Fundraising Project
Our first fundraising project is an ambitious and exciting one. Our goal is to write, produce and print a bestselling book, aimed at helping people transition from a gluten filled diet to a gluten free diet.
‘Goodbye Gluten, Hello Delicious: Your guide to going completely gluten free’, will feature a 30-day meal planner, as well as expert advice to help free from dieters along their journey.
This first fundraiser project will be much more than a recipe book. It will focus on lifestyle; mentally preparing people for a free from way of life. Delicious Alchemy’s founder, Emma Killilea, will share her real experiences of living a gluten free diet and all the things she wished she’d known at the start of her own diet transition.
All proceeds of the book will go to the Delicious Alchemy Charitable Foundation, so we’re hoping for fantastic sales once it’s available to buy. To get this project up and running, we are launching an exciting crowdfunding campaign, which will go live on 18th April.
