Dairy & Gluten Free Breadsticks

The basics

Preparation Time: 25 mins

Cooking Time: 15-20 mins

Serves/Makes: 20-25 breadsticks


You will need

1 x Delicious Alchemy White Bread Mix
300ml tepid water
2tbsp (15ml) sunflower oil
1 egg, beaten
50g sesame seeds


Step 1

Empty the contents of the white bread mix into a mixing bowl and add the water and oil. If necessary, knead in some cornflour so that the dough is easy to handle.

Step 2

Weigh out 20-25 small balls of dough and roll into long, thin strips (roughly 1cm by 16cm). Lift each strip on to a lined baking tray. Repeat with remaining dough as required. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle 1/2 with poppy seeds and 1/2 with sesame seeds.

Step 3

Bake at fan 180°C for 15-20 mins (or until golden brown.
