The basics

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: 30-40 mins

Serves/Makes: 12 people

You will need:

150g mixed nuts
250g Delicious Alchemy Gluten & Dairy Free Oats
100g mixed seeds
120ml coconut oil
150ml runny honey
8-10 medjool dates

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180oC and line a deep baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2

Roughly chop the nuts into chunks, or add to a food processor and blitz for a few seconds.

Step 3

Combine the oats and nuts in a bowl before adding the mixed seeds.

Step 4

Melt the coconut oil in a microwave safe dish and add to the oat mix. Pour the honey into the mix and stir.

Step 5

If the mix is slightly too dry, add a tablespoon more honey.

Step 6

Pour the mix onto the baking parchment and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden.
Ensure you stir the mix a few times throughout the process so the top doesn’t burn.

Step 7

Whilst the granola is in the oven chop the dates into 8 pieces each.

Step 8

Remove the granola from the oven and whilst warm stir in the dates.

Step 9

Leave to cool and enjoy!
